Augmented reality (“AR”) and virtual reality (“VR”) will be used widely in education in the years to come. However, just having only the technology is not enough. Educators need pedagogical content that adds value to learning and engages students to deepen learning. Students design, share and create collaboratively. The new AR technology is particular suitable for project-based, inquiry-based and problem-based learning. It is ideal for teaching higher order skills, 21st century skills, computational thinking and design thinking.
We have lesson plans available for pre-K, elementary schools, middle schools, upper secondary and libraries in ELA, Social Studies, Math, Science, Coding, Design Thinking, Computational Thinking, and STEM/STEAM. It is also a great tool for Career and Technical Education (CTE).
3DBear is a part of a Koulu.me group of educational tool developers supporting distance learning.
